I finally decided to get into the kitchen and try a recipe I wanted to do for a good six months. The recipe was taken from GCN (Global Cicling Network) YouTube Channel. And I written everything for you to take notes and try it out.
- 120ml Sunflower
- 200gr Soft brown sugar
- 2tbs Golden Syrup
- 1tbs Peanut butter
- 50gr Sultanas
- 50gr Flaked almonds
- 25gr Sesame seeds
- 25gr Sunflower seeds
- 50gr Chopped dates
- 225gr Oats
- Prepare the bonding with the sunflower oil, brown sugar and golden syrup.
- After it is all together add gradually the rest of the dry ingredients and the oats gradually at the very end.
- Pour the mix in a brownie tin with paper on the bottom and press down firmly (I used the bottom of a clean bottle)
- Use the oven in number 4 or 180C or 350F
- Bake 10-15min
The bars didn’t last for the weekend ride, made them on a Monday is not a good idea.
My suggestion is to prepare this one day if not the evening before your long ride.
